Description
Iccia likes the quiet solitude of the fields of home. While on leave from her post she stays on her family's farmstead, it's a far cry from the hectic life onboard a star ship.
Here she is taking some time out for herself to get back to her roots, she is at home with the high technology of modern life but she can't get away from nature. So often she changes into something more comfortable, fills a flask with her father's cider and takes a a few supplies for her own little picnic. It's a chance to get away from everything and just relax, no worries or concerns even for just a few hours. Though she can't get away from having a cheeky
look on the extranet for something cool to buy while at home.
It does look like the glowflies are taking an interest with the visitor to their field. I wonder what they think of her, and if the know she thinks they're pretty interesting to watch.
I am very happy with home this came out. The process of sketching, posing then lining and then colouring and shading was a lot of fun. I love it when I finish a piece and I feel happy, seeing no real way to add anything to it
I added the glowflies at the end and I think it makes the scene just that bit nicer, like theres an environment and not just a 2D background. Same with the grass actually. I'm also happy with the shading, which is pretty simple when you do it.
Lastly you might've seen something different about my Turi-gal. I did change her knee and shoulder plates, I got the idea from looking at other Turian OCs. Personally the knee and shouler pads I've been drawing do make it tricky to draw clothing and armour, so I wanted to try something smoother and smaller. I might stick with the new design, or I might switch between the two.
Plus I gave her 'moles' which are the little bobbly bits dotted around her body. I guess they are like Turian moles.
